Its Spring cleaning time! One of my many exciting things to do. I love clearing out the clutter, dusting everything, buying new sheets, home décor, and especially cleaning every inch of my home. It also helps clear out spaces creating a positive mental space. I hope the below hacks will inspire to give your home to shine like never before.
In every bathroom, keep a caddy with cleaning supplies under your sink. I like to use a clear acrylic one and print out a label that says "cleaning supplies." Having items in a convenient spot will encourage you to keep the space tidy, rather than carrying supplies room to room. Apply this technique for the kitchen too.
Make sure to get an extra scrubber. Don't use the same one for the kitchen and bathroom. Yuck! I like to use a scrubber with the dispensing soap attached to it add soap and a splash of vinegar (it won't smell bad). Once a week give your bathtub and sink a little scrub to avoid tough buildup. Especially the sinks it harbors more bacteria than the toilet
Don't forget to clean the vacuum. There is a filter that needs to be washed or replaced, so get that done. Use scissors to cut the matted hair that wrapped on the bristles. With all the gadgets being clean be sure to clean out the fridge. Wipe done the interior shelving, remove the bins, and clean the shelves on the doors. Wash with warm soapy water to get rid of lingering food and bacteria. Cleaning things can help avoid illnesses, minimize the spread of virus and bacteria.
Clean out that junk drawer. Honestly toss everything you do not use out and buy organizers from Amazon, Ikea, or Target. Purge your closet and declutter. If you haven't used it for the past year and don't think you will, donate it. A decluttered home can reduce stress and anxiety. Imagine things just piling up and your closet becomes a storage unit with no space. Its not a great feeling when you have other worries in life.
So, this Spring season get your place squeaky clean and organize - your body and mind will thank you!
